We ordered goreng2 since all kedai along the roadside need to wait for too long & some has closed the goreng2 order (it just 6.30pm that time). Very satisfied with the food! All goreng2 food tasty and seafood also fresh. Waiting time not too long. About 20min all 6 serving received. Nasi goreng tomyam seafood sedap! Seated area quite a lot. Price wise affordable. 6 food + drink around rm90+ plus the portion is big.

Very pleasant and peaceful ambience by the seaside. You can watch the waves and hear the sounds of the sea. Interesting spots to sit and have your meal.

A short (25 min) walk north over the bridge and following the coast finds you at this fantastic, large beach side restaurant- a satay grill at the entrance got me.( they offer fresh seafood as well.) but at $1mr (about 30p a skewer) you can’t go wrong- chicken and beef skewers with a delicious satay dip, next to the sea, the sound of the waves and the respectful hubbub of the beautiful Malay families eating there, the faint waft of a clove cigarette… evocative and heavenly. Open late, (11pm) No alcohol but you can BYO in town and have cheeky one on beach while you wait for the food.. Worth the walk if you’re stopping in town.
